Hon. Bill Blair
Member of Parliament for Scarborough Southwest
Prime Minister's Youth Council & Scarborough Southwest Youth Council

Young Canadians are the leaders of tomorrow and leaders of today. They have innovative ideas and unique perspectives on how the government should address opportunities and challenges. A key priority for the Government of Canada is to strengthen diversity and inclusion so that Canadians of all ages, cultures, ethnic backgrounds, races, religions, and sexual and gender diversities trust this country, its people, and its institutions. Everyone should feel they can participate fully as members of Canadian society.

The Government of Canada is recruiting new members for the Prime Minister’s Youth Council (PMYC). If you are aged 16 to 24, and want to help shape the Canada of today and prepare it for future generations, apply now to the PMYC!

Youth Council members meet several times a year to discuss issues that matter to their peers, their community, and their country. They also engage with local and national organizations, meet with policy makers and decision-makers, and attend public events. Members serve for a mandate of up to two years.

Share your voice and make an impact by becoming a member of the Prime Minister’s Youth Council or consider joining Scarborough Southwest's Youth Council.
