October 10 marks World Mental Health Day. First celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, the day is aimed at raising awareness on mental health issues around the world and providing support options for those with mental health issues. With increased dialogue and better access to mental health services, we can work together to help those suffering silently. COVID-19 has left many feeling isolated and anxious, make sure to check in on your loved ones and take time for yourself.
Visit Wellness Together Canada to take that first step to get connected to mental health resources, support, and counselling with a professional.
Call or text the Kids Help Phone line and find resources near you.
